Electrotherm is associated with Birim Makina, Turkey who is one of the leading manufacturers of metal scrap processing machines in its region. It has more than 700 machines operating in 5 continents, 58 countries. Deteriorating scrap quality has necessitated the preparation of scrap through scrap processing machines like shearing machines. Processed scrap is denser and cleaner for faster charging in the furnace. Processed scrap can be charged using a scrap-charging vibratory car. Processed scrap consumes less energy per ton of steel produced resulting in high productivity.
